Matthew and Katie Schafer announce the birth of their son, James Bazil Schafer, who was born January 28th, 2018. James is the second son of Matthew Schafer, grandson of Jon Schafer, great grandson of Francis Schafer, 2xgreat grandson of Carl Schafer, 3xgreat grandson of Lizzie (Schmidt) Schafer, 4xgreat grandson of Karl Schmidt, 5xgreat grandson of Dietrich Schmidt Jr., 6xgreat grandson of Dietrich Schmidt Sr., 7xgreat grandson of Friedrich Schmidt, 8xgreat grandson of Johannes Schmidt Jr., 9xgreat grandson of Johannes Schmidt Sr., 10xgreat grandson of Hans Heinrich Schmidt, and 11xgreat grandson of Hans Schmidt.
