Thank you to Marvin Lindemann of Humboldt, Iowa for allowing us to record his memories of the earliest Schmidt/Lindemann ancestors today. Marvin is the son of Carl Lindemann, grandson of Elizabeth (Schmidt) Lindemann, great grandson of Conrad Schmidt, 2xgreat grandson of Dietrich Schmidt Sr., 3xgreat grandson of Friedrich Schmidt, 4xgreat grandson of Johannes Schmidt Jr., 5xgreat grandson of Johannes Schmidt Sr., 6xgreat grandson of Hans Heinrich Schmidt, and 7xgreat grandson of Hans Schmidt.
